CY Investments, LLC is owned and managed by Connie Yoshimura, a longtime Alaska real estate broker and community builder. A third-generation Japanese American, Connie’s path to Alaska began after earning her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa, where she studied under novelist Kurt Vonnegut. What started as a way to support her writing turned into a lifelong passion for real estate and community development.

Over the past four decades, Connie has helped shape many of Anchorage’s most recognized neighborhoods—developments like Kempton Park, Heritage Estates East and West, Turnagain View Park and Estates, Potter Highlands, Huffman Timbers and the award-winning Sand Hill Reserve. Her work has always focused on creating diverse housing opportunities for Alaska families while respecting the character of each community. She is also the only private developer that has built and maintained public trails in her community, as she did with the Highland Park Walking Trail.

Connie has also served as Chair of the Anchorage Planning and Zoning Commission and is the owner and broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alaska Realty. She was named Alaska Realtor® of the Year in 2019 and is a Laureate of the Alaska Business Hall of Fame.
